Viewers will get a chance to find out when Lop
ez plays a no-nonsense self-help author, Anita Appleby, who teaches women how to retrain men through the power of denial in an episode to air in March, the network announced Wednesday.
The storyline has Robin (Cobie Smulders) telling Lopez’s character about Barney’s (Harris) womanizing ways. Lopez’ Appleby then sets out to “break” him.
“We’re looking forward to a week of revealing out
fits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred,” series executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays said in a statement.
Lopez is also reportedly in talks to guest star on Fox’s hit “Glee.”
Both Britney Spears and Rachel Bils
on have done turns on “How I Met Your Mother,” and Carrie Underwood is set to make her acting debut on an upcoming episode.
